Your Home Away From Home is a beautifully renovated house that is great for families and Tahoe adventurers alike.
Perfect for a ski lease!
Comfortable for up to 6 adults, and your pets are welcome too.
High speed Wifi & Cable TV included. A fenced back yard with BBQ and deck await you in a terrific quiet neighborhood.
It’s only 3 miles to Heavenly and Casinos, 1/2 mile to the lake, and close to many restaurants and breweries!
World class hiking and biking trails also within minutes.





The Space
Fully remodeled in 2016, everything you need, Home Away From Home. Quiet, clean neighborhood, down the street from major shopping and close to everything. Although our permit allows 10 people total and three vehicles, we choose the house occupancy to be up to 6 adults. Please call or message us for answers to your specific situation. The garage is insulated and can store bicycles, skis and other outdoor gear as well.
Guest Access
An Internet-enabled electronic deadbolt on the front door provides you access using your unique code provided before your stay. Code provided 2-7 days before reservation. Call for solutions to any problems with entry. You will have access to the entire house and backyard.

RULES AND PROCEDURES
Welcome to “Your Home Away From Home” vacation home at South Lake Tahoe. As with any household, there are a few rules and procedures that will make your stay more comfortable and ensure the comfort of future guests. Please read them carefully and communicate them to your entire party.
UPON ARRIVAL – STANDARD CHECK IN TIME IS 4PM & CHECKOUT IS 11AM.
KEYS: We have a combination deadbolt on the front door. We will send you your unique lock code and instructions two days before your check-in date. To unlock, enter your code and then the white Lockstate button once to open. To lock, push the Lockstate button. Push the buttons firmly and slowly. Please call 911 if you have any emergencies. Call or text us for any questions or problems, or if you feel anything is amiss- REALLY… please do!
OCCUPANCY & PARKING: Regardless of what our permit says- We allow up to six adults with two children on the sofa bed/futon in the home. Having more than 10 people in the house at ANY time; even just standing there is a City fine of $1000. A maximum of two vehicles on the driveway and one in the garage for a total parking of three. According to the City of South Lake Tahoe, you MAY NOT park on the public street, along it, or anywhere else on the property! Violations of these permit numbers can invalidate your stay and you will be asked to leave without refund. Parties with outside guests or “events” are NOT allowed and ALL fines WILL BE charged to you in addition to forfeiture of your deposit AND your remaining stay without refunds of any kind.
*SUMMER WARNING* Between the months of May and August the pine forest is reproducing. Heavy pollen, tree sap, and pinecones will fall. Your car will actually be covered in pollen in as little as 30 minutes in May! Tree sap actually spills out the bottom of the trees and forms child traps- please keep your kids out of these. Some of the pine cones at this time of year can actually break your car windshield when they fall. There is a broom in the garage to sweep off the deck and walk. Be careful to not track sap into the home on your shoes as it may incur additional cleaning charges. Sap will also get between your pet’s paw pads and impact their paws with rocks- this SUCKS for them and it hurts.
*WINTER WARNING* Snow shovels are kept in the garage for you to use as needed. There is no easy way to deal with snow and we cannot be held responsible for driveway clearing when all your vehicles are parked there. The City’s snow removal equipment will be clearing the streets during and after snow storms, and will tow your car AND fine you over $200 if they decide your parked car impedes their process. The city plow will also usually mess up the driveway with a berm.
BOAT TRAILER – Your boat trailer is welcome in the driveway if it fits- please be aware that Tahoe has an inspection program and will require the inspection and sticker before you can even pay to launch. Boat and personal watercraft rentals are also available at the marina at the end of Ski Run Blvd.
SKI/SNOWBOARD/SNOW EQUIPMENT – can be stored in the garage/carport or outside deck and NOT in the house. Also, please remove all wet gear, boots, shoes, or equipment before entering the house.
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ON THE PREMISES – This is a strict No SMOKING home including the garage and deck- owners are allergic to smoke. If you must smoke, please take a walk off the property and remember butts on the ground is littering and can be a fire hazard- also finable by the City.
QUITE TIME – Please respect our neighbors and neighborhood – quiet hours after 9PM. If we are notified by authorities or neighbors of a fine or complaints, your occupancy will immediately terminate without refund and you will still be responsible for any fines.
